Singleton’s Menthol is produced by Imperial in
UK for
Swedish Match. Dry raw tobacco is ground into fine tobacco powder,
which blends with additives and flavours and
allowed to mature. No fermentation stage is included in the
manufacturing process. Gothiatek is a Swedish
industry standard developed by Swedish Match. In 2006, Singletonīs Menthol was screened for the content of
more than 300 pesticides and no pesticide concentration exceeded
Swedish Match GRL-(guidance residue levels) values
All results are calculated
on dry weight, except bacteria. Only Bacillus spp.
(spore forming bacteria) is detected. The spores are dormant in the smokeless
tobacco products and do not grow if the water activity is below 0.90.
